Begin Your Montessori Journey: Our Enrollment Process
Our enrollment process is designed to be clear, personal, and respectful of your family’s needs. We believe the strongest foundation for your child’s success is a partnership built on shared understanding and trust.
Here is our straightforward three-step process to join our community.
Step 1: Experience Our Classroom
The first and most important step is to see our environment in action. We require all prospective families to schedule a tour. This allows you and your child to:
Observe children engaged in purposeful work in our multi-age classroom.
Meet our guides and experience the calm, focused atmosphere.
Ask questions about our philosophy, curriculum, and daily rhythm.
Get a feel for the space where your child will learn and grow.

Step 2: Submit Your Application & Deposit
If you feel Desert Montessori is the right fit for your family after your tour, the next step is to formally apply.
Complete the Online Application Form. You will receive a link after your tour or can request one at any time.
Submit the Non-Refundable Registration Fee. A $200 fee is required with your application to initiate processing and hold a provisional spot.
Submit the Materials & Enrollment Deposit. A $900 deposit is required to formally secure your child’s enrollment. This deposit is applied to your child's final month of tuition upon withdrawal, provided a 30-day written notice is given.
Step 3: Your Child’s Introductory Visits
To ensure a smooth and confident transition into our classroom community, we schedule introductory visits for your child.
Your child will join us for two separate visits, each lasting approximately one to two hours.
These visits allow your child to explore the classroom, bond with their guide, and begin connecting with peers in a gentle, supported way.
This step finalizes the enrollment process and ensures your child feels secure, excited, and ready to begin their Montessori journey on their official start date.
Financial Accessibility
We are dedicated to serving a wide range of families in the Antelope Valley.
We are a CCRC (Child Care Resource Center) vendor.
Financial assistance may be available for qualifying families.
